Auditions, Eligibility, Rehearsal & Tuition Info
Eligibility Requirements
Homeschoolers and students enrolled in their school’s music program and are age 6+ are eligible.
We offer year-round, open enrollment for all instruments and students at all skill-levels. To apply, fill out a student application on our website and complete the audition process.
We encourage students to Bring a Buddy to rehearsal, to give folks a taste of youth orchestra without any commitment.
Audition Requirements
After submitting a student application, students will register online and submit their auditions here.
Please submit a recording of a solo of their choice (no longer than 2-3 minutes in length)
AND
1 scale of the student’s choice
We are not asking students to sight-read.
Rehearsal Information
All Orchestra rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at Cavender Nissan of Rockwall,
located at 1700 I-30, Rockwall, TX 75087.
Intermediate Strings rehearsals are from 7:00 - 8:30 PM
Advanced Full Orchestra rehearsals are from 7:00 - 9:00 PM
All Chamber rehearsals are held on Sundays (late afternoon) and our Homeschool Day Program is TBA.

Please note: Chamber Music is for ALL music students at ALL skill levels (sax, piano, harp, all strings/brass/woodwinds) are welcome!
We offer 2 chamber music concert cycles along with several performances scheduled for the semester. We have weekly, 1-hour chamber coachings on Sunday afternoons - these are 4 to 5 week cycles. So you can commit to participating in one or both of these sessions. Rehearsals do not conflict with church.
Tuition
Orchestra Tuition: $325 per semester
or $625 per year
One Chamber Cycle: $175
