Eligibility Requirements
Homeschoolers and students enrolled in their school’s music program and are age 6+ are eligible.
We offer year-round, open enrollment for all instruments and students at all skill-levels. To apply, fill out a student application on our website and complete the audition process.
We encourage students to Bring a Buddy to rehearsal, to give folks a taste of youth orchestra without any commitment.
Spring 2024 Placement Auditions for our 2nd Concert Cycle are due by March 22nd
and
Rehearsals begin on March 28th
Late auditions will be accepted, however, there will be a $25 late fee unless prior arrangements have been made with Amanda Casper.
Audition Requirements
After submitting a student application, students will register online and submit their auditions here.
Please submit a recording of a solo of their choice (no longer than 2-3 minutes in length)
AND
1 scale of the student’s choice
**We are not asking students to sight-read **

All Orchestra rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm at St. Benedict’s Anglican Church located at 1616 N. Lakeshore Blvd, Rockwall TX

Please note: Chamber Music is for ALL music students at ALL skill levels (sax, piano, harp, all strings/brass/woodwinds) are welcome!
We offer 2 chamber music concert cycles along with several performances scheduled for the semester. We have weekly, 1-hour chamber coachings on Sunday afternoons - these are 4 to 5 week cycles. So you can commit to participating in one or both of these sessions. Rehearsals do not conflict with church.
Tuition
Spring Orchestra Tuition: $325
or
If you are only participating in the 2nd concert cycle: $200
and/or
One Chamber Session: $100

**Students with economic hardship are eligible for financial aid. No student will EVER be turned away due to finances.
We offer scholarships, payment plans and volunteer opportunities.
