Advent Service
Join us for a beautiful evening of holiday choral music at St. Benedict's Anglican Church in Rockwall, TX. Our annual Advent Concert will fill your heart with the joy, love, and hope of the season as the St. Benedict's Choir performs choral pieces from the great treasury of Christmas music accompanied by students from the Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony. Admission is free to the community but seating is limited! Make sure to RSVP for "Let Thy Light Shine," a Rockwall Advent Tradition.

2023 Summer Intensive
GRYS is offering a 10-day Summer Intensive for additional musical training from June 21st-June 30th!
We have programs for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels with ages ranging from 6-18 years old. Students will have the opportunity to perform in string orchestra, full orchestra and/or chamber ensembles. We are accepting Woodwind, Brass and String Instrumentalists. If you play Piano or Percussion, please reach out to Amanda Casper.
We are also providing Masterclasses, All-State Prep, Mock Auditions and will have a performance on the final day of camp.

Join Amanda Casper, GRYS students, and the Rockwall Philharmonic Orchestra for a night of music from Star Wars! This performance kicks off Rockwall Philharmonic’s Concert by the Lake 2023 series. Costumes/cosplay encouraged.
The Children's Advocacy Center 2023 Gala
The Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County is an interagency, multi-disciplinary partnership dedicated to providing intervention, hope and healing for children and families affected by abuse, trauma, and violence, and to the prevention of child abuse through education and training.

Open House Featuring Brian Worsdale
Join GRYS at Rockwall High School from 6 - 7 PM to discuss our upcoming Summer intensives and Fall program. Our special guest, Brian Worsdale, music director and conductor of the Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra, will speak on the value of youth orchestra for students. All students, parents, and music educators interested can attend. We have students from 11 ISDs and 3 counties so everyone is welcome!
Open rehearsal for the current Spring Orchestra program will be held after the open house from 7 - 9 PM. Any student who wants to bring their orchestral instrument and play along, or any parents interested in learning more, are welcome to stay and participate or observe. We have availability for brass, woodwinds, string, percussion, and piano.
Rockwall Art League 2023 Spring Exhibit
The Rockwall Art League was established in 2000 in Rockwall, Texas. The purpose was to create a forum for area artists to share ideas, communicate, and support each other, bring an awareness of fine art to the community and provide scholarships to support the efforts of talented high school students. These goals are being realized through annual exhibits, programs, studio days, the Tom Collins Memorial Scholarship, and the ArtReach Program.

Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas focuses on six key areas: creating Safe Places; providing Mentorship; meeting youth Mental Health needs; bridging the Workforce Readiness gap; championing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and ensuring our Youth Advocacy elevates issues impacting youth.
