Patricia Greer
Pat Greer is a retired addictions counseling professional. In addition to counseling, she served as President of her professional association at the local, state, and national levels. Her work has included teaching, organizing advocacy efforts in conjunction with other professional groups, and contributing to professional publications. She has also served on convention planning committees, and collaborated to launch inter-disciplinary efforts in her community to advocate for education, prevention, intervention and treatment. Pat’s interests in treating families facing addiction issues has also fueled an interest in developing comprehensive treatment programs to include physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery. Pat is a fan of classical music, but also appreciates other genres. With the Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony, she hopes to assist in the development of a program that will offer young people the opportunity to consider keeping music as a professional option, or, at the very least, a gift to share with their community.
